As the sole daughter of a high-ranking executive in the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney was raised with four brothers. In childhood, Delaney dreamed about becoming a court reporter. She began modelling in highschool and eventually gained commercials when she moved from the south of England to New York. She was cast as an innocent child in the 1981 soap opera All My Children. Delaney has appeared in a variety of films, television movies and dramatics since then. While she has a successful professional life, Delaney's personal life is not content and successful. This actress who's gifted and gorgeous, has struggled with addiction to alcohol in the past. Her marriages have also been unsuccessful twice. In 2005, the actress was denied custody over her one son.
